How to Read the Live Timing

What the positions, deltas and statuses on the stream overlays actually mean — Endurance & Trackdrive.

Endurance

22 laps · driver change halfway · several cars on track at once · combustion (CV) and electric (EV) run together but are scored separately.

DQ
  1. 1Position — the car's live rank within its own category. Combustion (red tiles) and electric (blue tiles) have separate classifications, so the stream can legitimately show two cars with a “1” — one CV leader, one EV leader.
  2. 2LAP — completed laps out of 22. Tiles are ordered like the field: most laps first, and on equal laps the lower total time goes higher.
  3. 3DELTA — gap to the fastest car of the same category, compared at the same lap. Green means this car leads its category (gap to 2nd place); red means time behind the leader.
  4. 4Times — TOTAL (sum of all completed laps), BEST and LAST lap, and the average lap time.
  5. 5Status box — RUNNING, DRIVER CHANGE (around lap 11), FINISHED, DNF, DQ or DNS. Finished or retired cars keep their tile for about a minute, then hand the spot back to cars still running.
  6. 6Tile color = category. Red is combustion (C numbers), blue is electric (E numbers).
  7. 7DQ / DNF / DNS — the car drops out of the classification. Its tile shows the red box briefly and then disappears from the live view.
Why the order can look “wrong”: cars start at different times, so the ranking never compares where cars physically are on track. The position always refers to the car's current lap: a car on lap 5 is compared with every other car's total time after their own lap 5 — even if the leader is already on lap 14. It answers “who was fastest over the first 5 laps”, not “who is ahead on track”. A car that started later can therefore hold P1 while being physically behind. As cars complete more laps the picture settles, and after lap 22 it matches the finish classification (before penalties).

Running
  1. 1Standings — only finished runs (all 10 laps completed), ranked by total time. The fastest total is shown in purple. Cars that didn't finish (DNF/DQ/DNS) never enter the standings.
  2. 2Total time — the sum of all 10 lap times, including any time penalties.
  3. 3The car on track — lives in “Recent run” with a live lap counter. Its position answers: “if every run so far had ended at this lap, where would this car rank?” — the same same-lap comparison as endurance. The moment it completes lap 10, it jumps into the standings above; its result stays on the tile until the next car launches.
  4. 4Status box — RUNNING while on track; a DNF/DQ run shows a red box here instead of entering the standings.
Points note: even a run that ends in DNF or DQ still earns championship points for every completed lap (2.5 % of the discipline maximum per lap, FS Rules D 9.3.4) — it just won't appear in the time standings above.

Status glossary

RUNNING — car is on track DRIVER CHANGE — endurance halfway stop (~lap 11) FINISHED — completed all laps DNF — retired during the run DQ — disqualified (rule violation) DNS — did not start
